As many people across the U.S. and many Canadians with American family move into a weekend of gathering and gratitude, I’ve been reflecting on how powerful these collective pauses can be.
Whenever large groups of people soften, appreciate, or reconnect with what matters, the energy of that reflection doesn’t stay contained within borders. It ripples outward. Others feel it. We feel it. And something subtle inside us shifts.
This time of year always reminds me of the importance of coming back to ourselves. Not in a performative way, but in a deeper, more honest way, the kind that helps us see what’s sustaining us, what’s unfolding, and what wants to grow next.
Over the past year, in my work with clients and in my own life, I’ve watched how powerful it can be to slow down enough to notice what’s here. Gratitude, when it’s grounded and true, reconnects us with clarity, steadiness, and our inner wealth. It helps us rise through setbacks, hold our bold choices, and step into the next version of ourselves with more ease.
A Gratitude Practice to Support You This Weekend
A while back, I created a simple gratitude practice for members inside the Cairn Wellness space. It’s one of the practices I return to again and again, especially in seasons of transition or reflection.
Today, I’m sharing it here as a gift. No login required. No names collected. Just something to anchor you during a weekend when many people are intentionally turning toward appreciation.

My hope is that it gives you a quiet moment to breathe into what’s unfolding in your life, both the visible progress and the shifts that are still taking shape beneath the surface.
Why This Matters
So much of what I witness in my coaching and in the Cairn community comes back to one simple truth:
When we recognize what’s sustaining us, we make clearer, braver decisions.
Gratitude isn’t about glossing over the hard parts.
It’s about expanding our capacity to hold both the challenge and the possibility.
This is what supports the kind of prosperity that grows from the inside out.
Wherever You Are This Weekend
Whether you’re celebrating Thanksgiving or simply moving through your days with intention, I hope this practice brings warmth, grounding, and a moment of connection, to yourself and to what you’re creating next.
With deep gratitude,
Tracey
