  • My team works well together, how do I know if I need team coaching?

    First of all, we sometimes say, “my team needs coaching” which might imply using coaching to fix something. While this is one way to utilize coaching, there are a million other reasons to have you and your team engage in coaching. For example, when you’re levelling up results that you’ve never achieved before. Entering new markets, acquiring other companies, expanding products or services or even upgrading your culture to become more innovative or creative.  Engage the coaching process because you sense there’s possibility beyond what you could create on your own. Every human being has untapped potential, deep wisdom that when evoked through team coaching, will help unlock and transform the team and the organization.

  • Members of my team are experiencing burnout and stress, wouldn’t engaging in one more thing put them over the edge?

    One of my favourite sayings is what’s in the way is the way. If your team is working at a high capacity, coaching can provide support in rethinking workload, exploring the causers of stress, and ultimately identify (and break up with) habits causing burnout. In fact, the transformative nature of team coaching most likely will bring about relief and reinvigorate your tired team! It may be the best gift you give them.

  • How does team coaching build long term capacity? What does that even mean?

    Not only can I support your team to develop skills and strategies that ensure continued success in the future, I’ll be posing questions in a unique way that has them visualize and step into that future. A bit like virtual reality! Through fascinating exercises I’ll support your team to discover answers and insights that will powerfully affect long term growth and sustainability. And since coaching is not about building dependency on the coach, the team learns to also do this for themselves. I’m always thrilled when it becomes evident that some folks on the team have natural traits that embody what it is to evoke, illicit and intuit just like professional coaches. That’s pure gold!

  • My team seems has occasional miscommunications or what we call minor conflicts that seem to fade in time. Should I be concerned?

    Great question! This is either a product of a team who is doing a great job at handling these issues as they arise OR these situations are ticking time bombs. Which answer best describes your situation? Either way, team coaching will provide your team with more powerful ways of addressing these situations in real-time. Together we’ll also forge trust and strong interpersonal dynamics that the team can then leverage. This looks like leaning into the creativity and innovation available in conflict a rich and fascinating space.

  • I’m about to retire and I’m concerned that there isn’t a strong successor on my team. Would team coaching support with this?

    Another brilliant question. Although team coaching benefits the team as a whole, it also helps identify and cultivate leadership potential within the team. Through coaching, emerging leaders will develop essential skills such as decision-making, strategic thinking, and emotional intelligence. This creates a pipeline of capable leaders who are prepared to take on greater responsibilities, ensuring the organization has strong leadership for the future. This proactive approach to leadership development can significantly contribute to the organization’s success planning and stability.
